Another 1st!

Our Sara started Kindergarten today!!! She has been going nuts since Anne started last week, driving me crazy everyday. A more mopey-dopey child I've never seen. "When does my school start?","Why does Anne get to go?","How many more days?", "I can't wait that that long!","I'm bored!", "I don't want to play with Libby!" ALL. DAY. LONG. But, its finally here! 

This girl knows what she's doing! She wouldn't even let me walk her into her class room. "No Mom! I know were to go. You leave now."

Someone please tell me how I we got from this

to this so darn fast.

Because I know that first picture was just last week. And then I blinked.

Which is why I have to keep telling this little dude to please stop growing!

1/2 Marathon!

Since last March, Kellan has been training to run in the Top of Utah 1/2 marathon. I'm amazed that he stuck with it considering how much he has had going on the last 6 months with school, work, and us.

Last Saturday he did it, and finished in 2 hours and 8 min! We're so proud of him!

The kids and I really wanted to be there to cheer him on at the end. 

Here we are waiting. They were all pretty good although Truman wasn't too happy about being restrained in the stroller.

Alas! We didn't see him coming and I had turned my back for just a second when he passed us, and I didn;t have the camera ready so I didn't get a good photo and barely got a good "GO DAD!" in.

1st grade and an overdue haircut!

Anne is loving 1st grade. It's rather bittersweet for me. She's having so much fun and loving it so much its hard not to feel excited for her while at the same time I miss her a ton!

Also, we finally got around to getting haircuts. Anne hadn't had a haircut since last fall. She's been wanting to cut it up to her shoulders. For some reason I was feeling attached to her hair and was hesitant to let her cut it that short but I'm so glad I did! We love it!

Its so darn cute! And a bazillion times easier to manage and do!

The Tooth Fairy

The tooth fairy finally came last night for our Anne-girl! Its been loose for two weeks and Kellan finally got away with yanking it out. Oh the excitement!
