Truman's Blessing

We finally blessed Truman on Valentimes Day. It was so much fun to have everyone over. We feel so blessed that our kids have such amazing grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins!

Somehow we all squished in. It was definately cozy!


The Birds. My mom's idea. Apparently getting a good family pic only getts harder the older your kids get.

A couple of weeks ago Kellan walked into the kitchen and found 3 little girls on the floor picking out the marshmallows from the box of Lucky Charms that "someone" had "accidentally" pulled off the counter and spilled everywhere. We couldn't help but laugh.


Our friend Jana broght by a ginormous roll of brown paper. Thank You Jana!!! It has been a life saver in beating the cabin fever!


Also, it snowed a few Sundays ago, so we hurried and made a snow man while the snow was still sticky. Probably the only one we will make this year, but I figure that is enough. The girls loved it and it was good to get outside for a while.


We finally got the pictures off of the old camera and I found this gem. It was the first week Truman was home and Libby hadn't shown any interest in him at all. I finally got this picture of them together, since then Libby really loves helping take care of him and give him kisses. She's really sweet with him.


Finally, Truman is 3 1/2 mo. old! I can't believe how big he is already! We all can't get over how adorable he is!


Finally, here's Truman in the Cubs jacket Kellan has been waiting for him to grow into. Little does Truman know the heart-break that awaits him.:)

Oh what do you do in the Winter time?

When all the world is gray, and you have 4 kids under 5 pent up inside?
1) Have a pretend birthday party for Libby of course! This girl really thought it was her Birthday. The girls couldn't decide which number candle to use so they used them all.


2) Make a tent for Truman.

3) Redecorate the front room, and refuse to let Mom take it down.

4) Paper-Bag costumes.

For those of you thinking I must be a super ingenious mother who always a fabulous activity ready for entertaining her children, think again. All of these were thought up and executed by Anne and Sara. All I did was make the cake at their request. They don't let the icky weather slow them down, that's for sure.
