Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve. Yes we must go back and catch up. It was a great Christmas, and I don't want it to be forgotten.

Awaiting the Christmas Eve present. Which is always jammies, but we pretend its a surprise.

Opening....

Yay...

Or not. She HATED hers.
Are we cruel parents if we couldn't stop laughing at her? Life is rough when Santa has to shop the discounts and all that is in your size are ugly brown and green jammies. But hey, they have cool giraffs right?

She got over it and decided that giraffes are kind of cool.
Poor Miles wasn't feeling so good. All he wanted was his sippy cup and mommy.

Nativity

One of our favorite traditions. I love that our little family has its own traditions that the kids make sure we don't forget. Our Nativity this year was chaotic and hilarious. Anne was Mary this year and Sara was the angle. Dad was Joseph as usual and Libby and Truman were shepherds and wise men. Mom was the innkeeper and narrator. So much fun!

Santa!

Our Santa Clause made his yearly check in to see if the kids were being good! They all loved it! And they all had loads of stories and requests for him. We're so glad he could make it to our house again this year!

Anne asked for a Merida barbie doll and binoculars. She still believes with all her heart.

Libby's first time not freaking out and hiding at the sight of Santa. She asked for a big doll house.

Sara asked for a Lalaloopsy doll and earrings. She's starting to get a bit skeptical and had lots and lots of how and why questions I wasn't quite sure how to answer.

Truman has always been more than happy to take candy from a stranger. He asked for a "boy" present.

Yay for Santa! Miles wouldn't dig his nails out of my neck (typical) so no pics of him.
