I know I am a complete slacker when it comes to this blogging thing. Forgive me! I meant to get picutures of Anne's birthday up months ago but never had the pictures where I could get them saved onto the computer. So here they are 2 1/2 months after her birthday. Here are some of the highlights of her 3(that's right 3) birthday parties (one with each side of the family plus her actual birthday with just us and Tee). The Giselle birthday card from Grandma was a huge hit! Then we went to Cold Stone with Aunt Tee. Anne got, get this, cotton candy ice cream with gummy bears! But she loved it. The next weekend we had a family party with the Stevens and I got inspired to try a princess cake. Actually, a lot easier than it looks. Thanks to Mary for letting me barrow her cake stuff to make it. It was fun celebrating her birthday all month.

Next up, Halloween! As you can see, I copped out this year and bought Halloween costumes. Best decision I ever made! Well, not really, but was a huge time saver, and I probably would have spent just as much money and stuff to make costumes and then they wouldn't have turned out as cute anyway. At least that's how I justified it in the store. They loved their costumes though and wore them everyday for about 2 weeks. Here's one of Anne wearing her's back at the start of October. It was still really hot and I found her about passed out on the couch asleep and sweating away because she had refused to take it off no matter how hot she was. The pictures are a bit fuzzy, but Libby's shirt says, "This is my costume".

And Last but certainly not least, Thanksgiving! Where I completely lost my head and didn't take a single picture all weekend! So sad, but it was awesome! We went down to my parents from Wednesday untii Sunday. We had so much fun. Especially Thanksgiving day. I wish I had a picture of our 10, that's right, 10 pies. One for each adult! And yes, we ate them all. We really out did ourselves this year, and yes we are pie snobs, as my husband likes to call us, but that's only because we make better pie than everyone else. That night we siblings had a blast playing Apples to Apples, wish I had a picture of that too, but alas I was too full of pie to think straight! It was so much fun to be with everyone all weekend!
