We just got home from a sort of spur of the moment week long trip to Gramma Evel's (My parents home in good ol' Cleveland) We had decided to go, decided not to go, and at the last minute decided to go anyway. I'm so glad we did!
A few days before we left Truman's 1st tooth finally broke through. HURRAY! He's only 19.5 months old. I love this picture. With all of the teething he's finally been having, his first love is his binky and his second love is the Tylenol/Ibuprofen. He's a bit old for the binky but I just don't have the heart to take it away in the midst of his teething. One down, four more right behind it. Hopefully we can get through the rest of it quickly!
Friday happened to be my Birthday! Yay! It was pretty awesome. I was feeling a bit bummed because I missed Kellan and was wondering why on earth I had thought it would be a fun idea to celebrate my birthday on the last day of being away from Kellan for a whole week. Everyone made my day so fun though. We had blueberry pancakes for breakfast, my girlies had oodles of homemade cards for me, my amazing friend Sharol took me out to lunch, my brothers spent the afternoon trying to make homemade trick candles while my sister and girls made me a cake and birthday sign to surprise me when I got home from lunch, and Kellan had a hilarious birthday card and present for me when we meet up the next day. What a great birthday huh? I really couldn't have asked for a better one. 28 is going to be my best year yet, I can feel it!

We also did a ton of other fun things at Grammas including my cousin's wedding which my sister and brother were able to make it down to. It was so fun to have all of my siblings there for the last couple of days (minus Keith who's on his mission). It was especially fun to have my nephew Max there, even though we had to be careful to keep our distance and not get our germs on him it was just fun to have him around. He such a sweet baby! He is doing really well. He's been home from Primary's since May 20th and last week they were able to take him off of his oxygen. We're just so grateful that he's alive! The girls just adore him!

Wow, not only do we have the same anniversary, but your birthday is just a few days after mine too! However, you're a spring chicken compared to me...at least by five years. Hope you had a fun trip! We went to my parents' on the spur of the moment during that week as well.
