Sara's B-day!

A week before we moved Sara turned 6!
She also wanted mini mouse pancakes for breakfast

For her present this year she wanted to pierce her ears. I never thought we would do it this soon, but she's been asking for the last 3 or 4 months so I figured, why not? I actually never thought she would go through with it, but she didn't back down every time I asked if she was sure and once we were there it was over before she had much time to think about it. They even had Hello Kitty earrings for her. How perfect is that?
Birthday Girl off to her last day of Kindergarten.

Birthday Party! Can you believe this is the first friend party I've ever done? She and Anne practically cornered me a few months ago and insisted that they are only kids on the planet who don't get friend parties. Then they bullied me into promising friend parties this year. No kidding.
That frosting tastes like strawberry ice cream by the way. Recipe is from sweetapolita, whom I love.

I was nervous, but it went sooo well. She mostly invited the girls in her primary class and they were so so adorable and fun!

If you hadn't guessed the theme of her life for the last 3 years has been Hello Kitty.
The Pinata. Anne was quite the helper!
Decorating bags for the pinata candy and Maren, who saved the day and came to help when Kellan had to go pick up our appliances for the new house at the last minute. Her husband went with Kellan and she came to help/save the party. They're pretty much amazing!

Happy Birthday Sara!
