Temple Square

This years Temple Square trip was crazy-bus. The weather was less than ideal, but it had been planned for a couple of weeks and it was a now or never situation. Besides, "Santa" needed a few things from IKEA for Chirstmas morning. Also it was the day of the Sandy Hook shooting and Kellan and I couldn't stop bawling. It was good for us to get away from the TV and feel the spirit of Temple Square. I felt so sad and grateful that I could see the joy on my babies faces and know they were oblivious (at least for now) to the evil that is out there.

Holy cow it was wet! And crowded. I thought at least it would be less crowded with the nasty weather, but nope. The kids seemed to love it anyway. Miles wasn't a huge fan of being wet and cold, so we didn't last long, but I'm so glad we did it! I love watching my older kids; its so magical for them!

That would be a hard day to go! I'm still kicking myself for not making it out there with the kids this year.
